War

What it means

War in a dream stands for conflict, inside you or around you. It often appears when you feel pulled in two directions, or under pressure from others.

Fighting in it speaks of a struggle you are engaged in. Watching from afar asks what conflict you are avoiding. Peace after war is a hopeful sign that a long struggle is nearing its end.
